During a recent trip to North Devon, I was taken to Mole Valley farmers. This is a business geared up to provide a comprehensive service to the local farming community and those who enjoy and outdoor lifestyle and first opened its doors in 1973. They stock farming equipment, feed supplies, pet supplies, clothing and gardening equipment as well as locally sourced and produced food and drinks.
I was interested in the locally produced food and drink in particular (although I did have a mooch in the pet dept)
The prices were very reasonable and there was a good choice too.
I cannot believe I didn't take a picture of the homemade cakes.... how did I not do that?
The bakewell tart was delicious!
If you are in the area of Holsworthy, North Devon, it is worth a visit .... although the food section is not the biggest section, it still has some good local produce on offer. 7/10
