Jazzy Jelly

Sometimes you get a craving for something sweet and these individual jellies are perfect to curb the craving. They are also a lovely dessert to serve when you have friends over for dinner, as they can be made well in advance. No-one wants to be stuck in the kitchen all night when friends come round. They can be altered to suit your particular favourite flavours, so have fun with them!

The Recipe Ingredients

1 sachet of sugar free jelly

2 trifle sponge fingers (broken into pieces)

Greek Yoghurt

Fresh fruit to garnish

Method

Empty the jelly into a measuring jug and pour in 500ml of boiling water, stir well until dissolved and leave to cool.

Place the pieces of trifle sponge into the bottom of a dessert dish or serving glass.

When the jelly has cooled, pour slowly into the serving dish.

How many jellies you make really depends on the size of your serving glass/dish. I usually get 2 servings from 1 sachet using the above glass.

Put the jelly into the fridge to set for a couple of hours.

When the jelly has set and you are ready to serve, top with your favourite flavour greek yoghurt and fresh fruit. Who says jelly is old fashioned!
